She brings a compassionate approach and a nuanced understanding of the complexities of grief to her work, rooting her approach in evidence-based methodologies that guide individuals and families through the journey of grief integration.

Package summary

Run by an experienced facilitator of grief-focused therapy, this six week virtual grief support program conceptualizes grief as a movement between a focus on loss and a movement toward restoration (the dual process model of grief), recognizing the importance of oscillating between confronting the pain of loss and engaging in activities that promote adaptation and growth. This balanced approach acknowledges the dynamic nature of grief and empowers individuals to find their own unique path toward healing and resilience. Megan utilizes empirically validated treatment protocols established by the Center for Complicated Grief at Columbia University and seeks to create a safe and supportive environment where individuals can explore their emotions and navigate the challenges of loss.
